    A Tribe Called Judah: Funke Akindele’s Movie Hits N854 Million

    The Nollywood blockbuster,  A Tribe Called Judah, produced by movie star Funke Akindele has so far grossed N854 million.

    The movie, which was released a few weeks ago, already amassed N613 million across Nigeria’s cinemas in December, making it the movie with the highest turn-in for 2023.

    Actress Funke Akindele recently posted a cover of the movie on her Instagram page showing the amount engrossed so far.

    “Na God Dey run am!!!!” she captioned the movie cover uploaded. 

    Funke Akindele expressed her appreciation to Nigerians for viewing the movie at the cinema, adding that it was God’s doing.

    The flyer posted by the actress, who was running mate to the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) candidate of the Lagos State Governorship election, the Nollywood film had garnered N854 million and currently ranks as the highest-grossing movie ever in Nigeria’s movie production history.

    According to the I Need to Know star, when she premiered the movie, it was dedicated to her late mother.
