    On May 14, 2024, Adekunle Gold expressed how deeply moved he was after meeting children and families affected by sickle cell. He praised organisations like Sami Update and Sickle Cell Foundation NG for their dedicated work in helping those with the condition. Inspired by his encounters, Adekunle Gold vowed to ensure that these organisations receive the necessary resources and support to continue their vital work.

    During his visit to the Sickle Cell Foundation Nigeria, Adekunle Gold left a lasting impression. The foundation expressed gratitude for his support and described him as a true inspiration to the sickle cell community. They highlighted the positive impact of his visit, stating that it instilled hope in sickle cell warriors and reassured worried parents about their children’s futures.
