Air Peace Ltd. has announced a significant reduction in its airfares for the Nigeria-London route, offering travelers up to N600,000 in savings. This was confirmed in a statement by the airline’s Head of Corporate Communications, Dr. Ejike Ndiulo, on Wednesday in Lagos.
The promotion is part of the airline’s new campaign to make international travel more affordable for Nigerians. Additionally, Air Peace is offering an exclusive deal of one free extra luggage allowance for passengers. The promotion is available until March 31, with travel allowed until April 15.
Travelers from cities including Abuja, Asaba, Benin, Enugu, Owerri, Warri, Port Harcourt, and Chinua Achebe International Airport in Umueri, Anambra State, must connect through Lagos before flying to London Gatwick.

On the airline’s booking platform, tickets from domestic destinations to Gatwick during the promotional period start at N965,500 for economy class and N2.38 million for business class, depending on availability.
Air Peace launched its Lagos-London route on March 30, 2024, with affordable prices that were significantly lower than those of foreign carriers. Economy class tickets started at N1.2 million, compared to N3-5 million charged by international airlines, and business class tickets were priced at N4.5 million.
The airline also expanded its services in April 2024, allowing passengers from various cities to connect through Lagos. In response to Air Peace’s entry, foreign airlines lowered their prices, and some even attempted to undercut Air Peace’s fares. By December 2024, Air Peace added Chinua Achebe International Airport, Umueri, to its network, making international travel more accessible for travelers from the southeast region.
