APC is Responsible for Insecurity in Ondo –Ajayi

The Ondo PDP Governorship flagbearer Agboola Alfred Ajayi has alleged that the ruling APC is responsible for the recent spate of violence in the state, in its bid to retain power.

Ajayi stated that he has a clear vision on how to transform Ondo state beyond the expectations of the citizens.

The former Deputy governor of Ondo state and the Ondo PDP Governorship flagbearer, Ajayi appeared on News Central TV’s Breakfast Central on Friday noted that having been in government for a long time, he has the experience and a clear vision to transform Ondo State into a better place.

Answering questions regarding his dispute with late Governor Akeredolu, he said: “Whatever happened between me and Late Governor Akeredolu should be put aside and I don’t like discussing it. Let’s move on”, he added.

On his relationship with the current Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, He said “Governor Lucky is my friend, he called me last night and i missed his call. We are all friends.”

Rating the current administration of Governor Lucky, he said “Nobody can dance naked in the masquerade market and expect that they do not see him”. It is too early to start rating two months government.

He alleged that “the recent violence experienced in Ondo state was brought by the ruling APC”.

He noted that he is the most competent candidate judging with his political portfolio and with the fact that he wines and dines in Ondo state.

Speaking on his manifesto for Ondo state, He said “The primary objective of every government is to secure lives and properties. I was part of those who establish Amotekun to strengthen security in Ondo. We can improve on that and have forest gaurds to protect the farmers.”

“I will also develop the riverine area with a lot of infrastructures which will then decongest Lagos state. He added.

When Olive Emedi asked for timeframe for his objectives if elected , he said, after he has done a full year in office, citizens of the state should be able to make informed assessment of his stewardship. Watch here:
