Nigerian artists are making waves with their sounds and embodiment of the Afro culture. They are spurring global recognition and championing the latest sound by moving Afro rhythm to new heights.

The Grammy-nominated artist Ayra Starr, has released her first single of the year 2024 titled ‘Commas’. The 21-year-old signed to Mavins record label is a growing voice. She is rumoured to release a new body of work later in the year.

The Nigerian genre-defying artist and 23-year-old Cznbaby has dropped his first single of 2024, titled, 1 Night. The song, released on January 31, is an afro-infused tune, which makes it his sophomore single.

He began his music career in 2021 after inspiration from fellow Nigerian musicians. Now signed to the Gold River label, the youngster is getting attention from industry professionals and fans. He has earned accolades and multiple stage performances in the past years.

Rapper and singer Zlatan followed suit by releasing a new single featuring YBNL signee and Grammy-nominated artiste Asake.
