Tolulope Adeleru Balogun and Nasir Agbalaya speak on Nigeria’s Minister of finance, budget and national planning, Zainab Ahmed, predicts that the total public debt of the country will be N38.68 trillion by December 2021. The Spanish government has approved a loan of €5 million for Morocco to build two seawater desalination plant.

The plants will be built in Assa-Zag in the Guelmim-Oued Noun region and in Moulay Brahim in the Marrakech-Safi region. The Monetary Policy Committee of Nigeria’s Central Bank (CBN) has retained key lending rates at 11.5 percent. CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, announced this on Tuesday, saying it is part of efforts to boost the economy towards a sustainable recovery from the recession.
