CAF Champions League: ES Tunis hold firm against Orlando Pirates

The result means ES Tunis and Orlando Pirates remain joint top with three matches to play.

Defending champions ES Tunis remain joint top of Group B in the CAF champions League after playing out a 0-0 draw with Orlando Pirates in Soweto.

The Tunisians and had to weather the storm at times as they faced intense pressure from the hosts who were looking to take control of the group.

ES Tunis Coach Mouine Chaabani elected to field an attacking side with prolific forwards Youcef Belaili, Anice Badri and Taha Yassine Khenissi all starting up front.

This approach was however thwarted by Pirates who swamped on the visitors early on. Both teams ultimately cancelled each other out and settled for a point each.
