Central African Republic’s economic growth is expected to accelerate to 4.5 percent this year, up from around 4 percent in 2018, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) announced.
According to the released statement, a peace agreement signed in February between the government and 14 armed groups, represents a unique opportunity to create the conditions for sustained and inclusive growth, poverty reduction and job creation.
