Tracey Boakye says she should be rewarded greatly for reducing the problem of unemployment in the country.
It’s a new episode of Tracey Boakye’s Instagram rants – and this time, she is focusing on her critics (and haters) on social media.
A few weeks ago, the Kumawood actress and side chick of ‘Papa No’ was heavily trolled on social media for attending a donation exercise with a dress which doesn’t fit her status. Due to her braggadocios attitude on social media, she was branded uncivilized and someone with low fashion sense during the donation.
But she finally has an answer for all of them. According to her, she should be rewarded for reducing unemployment and giving jobs to social media critics. She revealed this in a video she posted on her Instagram on Wednesday that she is aware of all the people criticizing her ‘poor’ fashion sense but they should pay her for giving them jobs.
“I need to be rewarded for the jobs I’ve given to social media critics,” she said in the video. “I need to receive pay because I have people on social media who monitor my nails, hair and skin.”
She continued: “In fact, I’ve helped these people with jobs. I’ve reduced unemployment. My only worry is that they may get high blood pressure. But if they don’t get BP, then I applaud them.”
“Social media critics should also reward me because not everyone is capable of catching people’s attention. I’ve bought them pressure, and I’ve given them jobs,” Tracey Boakye added.
Recently, the term “Papa No” started trending on social media after Ghanaian actress and producer, Tracy Boakye used that to describe the supposed sugar daddy she is fighting over with Mzbel. In one of her videos, the actress was heard mentioning the name of the Former President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, describing him as “Papa No”, saying that she respects him a lot, adding that she has no issues with the New Democratic Congress(NDC).
Already, Ghanaians had tagged John Mahama with the trended catchphrase so for Tracy Boakye to mention his name along with the term proved that whatever was speculated by the Ghanaian populace was true. However, her statement generated a lot of mixed feelings from netizens as some looked so surprised that the former president got involved with the two ladies.
The actress recently revealed in an exclusive interview with NY DJ on Y102.5FM that she left the United Kingdom for Ghana because she wanted to be famous.
The actress who has over the past years made a name for herself as a producer, actress and entrepreneur revealed she always wanted to be famous hence leaving her parents in the UK at age 16 for Ghana.
Narrating her journey into the movie industry Tracey said;
“I wanted to do movies. I wanted to be an actress. I kept telling my mum but she thought I was joking. They eventually got mad at me knowing I was stubbornly following my passion.
I wasn’t thinking about the Ghana Movie Industry. I was thinking about me wanting to be famous… I had the passion for acting as well so why keep it in me. I decided to come to Ghana and showcase that talent I had”, she said.
Tracey Boakye has now become a subject of ridicule since starting a fight with Mzbel over someone’s husband. Though the beef has ended, some social media critics constantly troll her for making money off someone’s husband.
