    Dangote Reclaims Africa’s Richest Position on Forbes List

    International Business mogul, Aliko Dangote has reclaimed the richest person position in Africa on the Forbes Real-Time Billionaires list.

    The feat comes barely one week after South African Business mangnate, Johann Rupert, overtook Dangote’s position.

    According to the ranking as of January 8, Dangote’s net worth improved by $10 million to $10.1 billion, while Rupert’s net worth went down from $10.7 billion as of January 8, to $10 billion as of January 30, 2023,

    On the Forbes list, Rupert is placed 197th globally, and Dangote, the chairman of the Dangote Group, is ranked 191st.
