Nigerian R&B sensation Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems, has opened up about her experiences in a romantic relationship.
The Grammy Award-winning artist likened being with her to discovering a rare type of flower. During a podcast discussion, she revealed that her public persona may not accurately reflect her true self. However, she cautioned that beneath her colourful exterior, there lies an element of resilience.
“Dating me is like stumbling upon a rare species of flower that looks black from the outside and when you open it, it has pink, purple but in the middle, there’s a stone,” she explained.
In a chat with YouTuber Korty EO, Tems expressed her belief that many men enter relationships primarily for physical intimacy rather than genuine connection.
For all we know, Tems isn’t currently involved romantically with anyone.
