Nigerian President Bola Tinubu is welcoming his first group of visitors for the Eid-El-Fitr celebration at the Presidential Banquet Hall at State House in Abuja.
The president arrived at the location at 12:16 pm on Sunday, marking the start of the meeting.
The guests include traditional rulers, Christian and Muslim community leaders, top judicial officers, area council chairpersons, and several politicians from the Federal Capital Territory who represent the territory at the National Assembly.
Dr. Timothy Amazon, Chairman of the FCT Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, and Prof. SAS Galadanci, Murshid of the National Mosque, delivered the opening prayers.

The Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, who led the delegation, will make the opening remarks, according to the schedule seen by PUNCH News. The guests will then deliver their cards to the president.
Seated are Mohammed Idris, Minister of Information and National Orientation; Vice President Kashim Shettima; and National Security Advisor Nuhu Ribadu.
