Napoli fans are buying replicas of Victor Osimhen’s protective mask as he equals Gonzalo Higuain’s record of scoring in six consecutive matches.
Osimhen is Serie A’s leading scorer with 17 goals in 18 matches, and Napoli tops the league with 59 points. Fans are queuing to buy Osimhen’s mask, and he scored Napoli’s second goal in their 3-0 win over Cremonese.
After being unable to net a goal in Napoli’s 1-0 defeat to Inter Milan in January, the Super Eagles striker had since found his mojo against Sampdoria, Juventus, Salernitana, AS Roma, Spezia Calcio, and Cremonese, scoring eight goals in the process.
