A fire broke out in Kano early Wednesday morning, sending thick plumes of black smoke into the sky.
A video shared by Bashir Ahmad, a former aide to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, captured the inferno as onlookers watched helplessly.
“A devastating fire incident currently in Kano. Thoughts and prayers are with all those affected. Allah ya kare asarar rai, Ya kuma maidawa wadanda suka yi asarar dukiya da mafi alheri,” Ahmad wrote on X.
As of the time of this report, the exact location of the fire remains unconfirmed, and authorities have yet to provide details on the cause or any potential casualties.
This incident comes just five days after a fire devastated the residence of the late Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu in Goron Dutse.
