Heavy K Defends His Legacy and Demands Respect


Award-winning DJ, Heavy K real name, Mkhululi Siqula took to Twitter to demand respect for his legacy in the music industry following the backlash on Kabza De Small.

Heavy K decided to make his opinion known after Kabza De Small caught flack online for not granting interviews and public speaking on his knowledge of Amapiano.

The ”Wena” artiste in a lengthy post reflects on the same experience in his prime similar to the current backlash on the artiste…

During his prime, Heavey K released hits such as “Inde”, “Beautiful War”, “Umoya” and “Gunsong”.

He defined the entertainment industry as seasonal. One minute so and so is hot property the next thing someone else is the next big thing. Sad reality but that is the case.

Responding to a troll who said it was a shame he had accepted that his time was over, he responded:

Prime doesn’t last forever, I’m just maintaining what I’ve achieved over the years & growing my brand globally…you are entitled to your opinions no hard feelings.
