Kevin Spacey, after being found not accountable in a $40 million civil sexual misconduct lawsuit last month, has been cast in a British indie film “Control”. This is the actor’s first movie role since he was found not accountable and will be a voice-only role.
This comes a week after it was revealed that Spacey will be charged with seven further sex offences in the U.K. lawsuit, all relating to the same alleged victim. This comes a month after a jury in New York found him not liable in a civil sexual misconduct trial.
The film “Control”, produced by Cupsogue Pictures and written and directed by Gene Fallaize, is said to wrap up filming this week.
In October, the 63-year-old actor was found not accountable in the lawsuit levied against him by actor Anthony Rapp. He had been accused of assault, battery and emotional distress from an alleged incident in 1986.
Kevin Spacey’s further seven sex offence charges, all relating to the same victim brings the total number of cases he faces in the U.K. to 12.
