A fully loaded tanker discharging fuel at Optimal Petrol station, Ondo State has been gut by fire.
The tanker exploded and the filling station went up in flames causing residents to panic.
One resident in the neighbourhood said the explosion was caused by excessive pressure.
Men from the Federal Fire Service and Ondo State Fire Service arrived and quickly put out the fire.
It was gathered the owner just purchased the tanker, which was on its first trip to discharge.
