Mixed reactions have followed a recent video teaser posted by rapper Sarkodie in Ghana. The video post with the caption ‘Y3nfa Adwen’ meaning … featured fellow Ghanaian musician Black sheriff.
Some quickly pointed out the importance of the collaboration between the two artists, being that Sarkodie is a veteran artist and Black sheriff only just beginning his career. The two collaborated on the song ‘Country side’ off Sarkodie’s last album, ‘Jamz’ that dropped on November 11 last year.
While some predict it’s a teaser for the soon-to-be-released official video to ‘country side’, it’s unclear because the audio to that teaser was a song with Nigerian musician, Bnxn instead.
One user commented on the post saying “The Present and The future”, referring to both stars, another said “You want use the boy for your brand. Blacko to be way down to earth. 19 %. Blacko for know say Sark never did shit for the old gees. @blacksherif. you be the relevant artist now in the industry. Forgetti Sarkodie 000o. He Dey use you” and others seemed to tease Blacko aka black sheriff for his choice of trousers.
The good news is, an official music video with Black Sherif would make it the 3rd track on the album to get visuals. Recall, the ‘JAMZ’ album housed some of the continents finest stars, from Nigeria’s Oxlade, Young star Joeboy, LOJAY, Ghana’s King Promise to Jamaican star Kranium amongst others.
