Elon Musk has revealed that certain X (formerly Twitter) users will receive access to X Premium features at no cost.

In a post on the platform, Musk announced that accounts with a significant following will receive complimentary access to premium features.

The tweet stated, “Moving forward, all X accounts with over 2500 verified subscriber followers will receive Premium features at no cost, and accounts with over 5000 will receive Premium+ at no cost.”

X Premium subscription offers account owners access to various features, including enhanced visibility, the ability to upload videos up to 3 hours long with a file size of up to 8GB, reduced advertisements, access to beta features, and more.

The X Premium+ subscription includes additional benefits, such as ad-free browsing and reply prioritization.

This announcement adds to the series of changes Elon Musk has implemented since acquiring the platform in 2022.

Going forward, all 𝕏 accounts with over 2500 verified subscriber followers will get Premium features for free and accounts with over 5000 will get Premium+ for free
