Labour activist Michael Amushelelo of the Namibia Economic Freedom Fighters on Friday, May 13, turned himself in to be arrested by the Police.
This is coming after ordering the closure of several Chinese-owned shops at China Town Thursday. Khomas police chief Ishmael Basson confirmed the arrest.
31 year-old Michael Amushelelo handed himself over to the police after being declared wanted for creating havoc within the business community, after he allegedly broke into shops in Windhoek’s China Town.
The fearless activist was accused of not operating according to court orders after he raided and destroyed property in various shops.
