The Federal Government has completed a flood control project in Adamawa state, northeast Nigeria
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, while commissioning the project at the Federal College of Education Yola, remarked that the storm water project will help reduce the perennial flooding experienced in the state.
The project is a commitment by the Federal Government of Nigeria to alleviate the impact of the floods on residents.
Adamawa, a northeastern state in Nigeria, suffers perennial flooding at the onset of the rainy season annually.
