News Central have gathered that security operatives attached to the Bauchi State Police Command have exterminated a notorious bandits kingpin Madaki Mansur alongside his foot soldiers in Bauchi State.
Mansur is widely feared for inflicting mayhem in Alkaleri Local Government Area and other neighbouring states of Taraba, Plateau and Gombe.
Mansur was eliminated on Monday December 19 after the Bauchi State Police command engaged his foot soldiers in a gun battle in four different hideouts; Mansur, Digare, Gwana and Dajin Madam in Alkaleri forest.
Twelve of the kidnappers were neutralised, according to the spokesman for the Bauchi State Police, while the remaining kidnappers were subdued, dislodged, and fled in confusion into the nearby bushes with potential gunshot wounds and abandoned their Camp.
Weapons and functioning motorcycles were found during the operation, according to Wakil. He added that the Command is stepping up its efforts to capture the syndicate members who are evading capture.

“In our combined efforts to stem the menace of banditry in Bauchi State, especially in Alkaleri L.G.A., the command was at its best recently;
“On the 19th December 2022 at about 0230hrs a Joint Operation of security operatives engaged suspected bandits/kidnappers in four different hideouts; Mansur, Digare, Gwana and Dajin Madam in Alkaleri forest. Following the hot exchange of superior fire-power by the operatives which left twelve (12) of the kidnappers neutralized while others were subdued, dislodged, and scampered in disarray into the nearby bushes with possible gunshot wounds and abandoned their Camp.
“Consequently, weapons and operational motorcycles were recovered during the operation.
“Meanwhile, the Command is intensifying efforts to apprehend the fleeing members of the syndicate.”
