The Rivers State Police Command in Nigeria on Thursday, announced that its officers conducted a raid on the hideout of notorious kidnappers in Emuoha Local Government Area of the state. It stated that during the operation, one suspect was killed, while another was apprehended.
At a press conference held in Port Harcourt, the state capital, the Commissioner of Police, Emeka Nwonyi, disclosed these developments. He identified the suspect taken into custody as a member of a gang responsible for the abduction and murder of Justice Azundah, who was the Chief Protocol Officer of the former Chief of Staff at Rivers State Government House.
