Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems has been named Best New Artist at the 2022 Soul Train Awards. The songwriter was nominated alongside fellow Nigerians CKay and Fireboy for the honour.
The award ceremony was held on Saturday at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
Meanwhile, Beyonce was the night’s greatest winner, as her album ‘Reinassance’ won Best Album, Break My Soul won Song of the Year, and ‘Make Me Say It Again Girl’ won Best Collaboration. See the Complete list of nominees below, with winners in bold.
