Nigerian Troops have neutralised a notorious ISWAP Commander Oumar Tehla alongside six other leaders in the ongoing counteroffensive onslaught of Op Desert sanity in North East, Nigeria.

This comes after the military eliminated another ISWAP Commander Abou Aysha in in a fierce fire engagement in Timbuktu- Faruuq Triangle.

Some Boko Haram insurgents were attacked by ISWAP as they attempted to flee the military bombing in Borno State, Northeast Nigeria. On the outskirts of Lake Chad, the military has intensified its raids against militants.

Recall how a military assault resulted in the deaths of over 200 Boko Haram members and their commanders, and how flooding forced some insurgents to flee to Borno state’s east of Konduga Local Government Area.

The Nigerian Military has neutralised a number of high-profile terrorists commanders in 2022. In April, notorious ISWAP Commander Abubakar Dan-Buduma and 19 other fighters were eliminated in Nigeria’s Northeast.

This was exactly two weeks after the Nigerian Army exterminated one of the leaders in ISWAP Sani Shuwaram alongside other terrorists.

Abubakar Dan-Buduma and the other fighters were killed in a coordinated operation combining fighter jets from neighbouring Niger and ground soldiers not far from Lake Chad’s coasts.
