Nigeria’s Anti-Narcotics Agency Arrests Agents With Credit Cards

Nigeria’s anti-narcotics agency, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) apprehended four political party agents at Ibara housing estate in Ogun state, during an election stop and search operation.

The agents were found in possession of hundreds of credit cards and cash intended for vote buying.

Each card contained a value of N10,000 and was activated with a unique code for cash withdrawal.

Following the arrest, the Chairman of the NDLEA, Brig-Gen Buba Marwa, has directed that the suspects be properly documented and handed over to the police for further action.
