About The Movie

The powerful impact that prayer has on our lives is explored in Mount Zion Movie’s thought-provoking film “Recitation.” The movie is the ideal fusion of drama, suspense, and religion; it takes audiences on an emotional rollercoaster and leaves them with a renewed understanding of the effectiveness of prayer.

The value of faith and persistence in praying is one of the movie’s main teachings. “Recitation” journey is proof that prayer isn’t a magic wand that solves all of our issues at once. Instead, it calls for endurance, perseverance, and patience. The movie demonstrates that even when we encounter difficulties and setbacks, we must maintain our faith in God and believe that our breakthrough is imminent.

Michael Ayodeji, one of his fans, expressed his views about the movie, saying, “I’m not moved to tears nor am I crying, it’s just a fountain-burst within me finding expression through my eyes. This movie stirred something in me so much that I still can’t find the perfect words. God bless the entire crew/team.”

Excited about the movie premiere, Damilola Mike-Bamiloye, said, “We had a great time in Oritamefa Baptist Model School (OBMS) as we premiered Mount Zion’s latest movie “RECITATION”. Many of the scenes were shot in the school, which happened to be my then secondary school, some scenes were shot in my class, SS1 Peace. Interestingly, I had the major actor sit on my seat.”
