Before leaving Nigeria, the President-elect met with Nigeria’s House of Representatives candidates for Speaker and Deputy Speaker endorsed by his party, the All Progressives Congress. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas and Hon. Benjamin Kalu were presented to him by the Joint Task Team of the House. Tinubu’s meeting with the House of Representatives candidates demonstrates his commitment to building a cohesive and collaborative government that will work towards Nigeria’s economic development and security.
