After a turbulent time in Monaco, Henry Onyekuru is making waves again, for the third time, with the Red and Yellow of Galatasaray.
In his debut on Friday against Gaziantep, the former Eupen attacker scored a brace in a team he knows quite well.
It took the former Everton attacker just five minutes to get off the mark on his Galatasaray return as he came on to save the day for the Turkish giants.
With Fatih Terim’s team facing difficulties in breaking Gaziantep down, Onyekuru’s directness was the missing factor as he came on to make the difference.
It was Gaziantep’s first win in 23 games in all competitions.
Another Nigerian player, Oghenekaro Etebo was also involved in the game as he played a part in Onyekuru’s second.
It took just 27 minutes for the attacker to get his brace while he only recorded an assist in 141 minutes of football with Monaco.
