Osun Election: Supreme Court Fixes Tuesday For Judgement (News Central TV)

May 9 is the set date by the Supreme Court in Nigeria to hear the appeal filed by former Osun state Governor, Gboyega Oyetola challenging the election of Ademola Adeleke.

In his appeal, Oyetola is requesting that the Court of Appeal in Abuja reverse its March 25 decision upholding Adeleke’s victory in the most recent governorship election in Osun State.

A previous ruling of the Osun Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, which sided with Oyetola and ousted Ademola Adeleke, had been overturned by the Appeal Court in its ruling.
