Over 42 Speakers and Presiding Officers from sovereign states of the Commonwealth nations have arrived in Kampala ahead of the assembly of legislatures scheduled to commence on Thursday at Munyonyo Speke Resort.
Kenya’s Moses Francis Masika Wetangula, Namibia’s Lukas Sinimbo Muha, Jemma Nunu Kumba of South Sudan, Manzoor Nadir (Guyana), Nelly Mutti of Zambia, Phandu Tombola Chaha Skelemani (Botswana), Mamonaheng Mokitimi (Lesotho), Sooroojdev Phokeer of Mauritius, Deputy Speaker of Taraba State House, Hamman Adama Abdullahi, Hon. Marie Ebikake and Hon. Lawson Tabot, representing Nigerian and Cameroonian Speakers, respectively and Francisco Esperanca Laurinda of Mozambique have arrived.
Alban Kingsford Bagbin Sumana (Ghana), Johari Abdul (Malaysia), Mohamed Aslam (Maldives), Fetafehi Kinikinilau Lolomanaia (Tonga), Leo Cato, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Grenada and Auuapaau Mulipola Aloitafua (Samoa) are also in attendance.
