Real Madrid were held to a 1-1 draw at Osasuna on Saturday, with Jude Bellingham receiving a red card for dissent as the La Liga leaders dropped two crucial points.
Kylian Mbappe gave Madrid the lead early on, but the game took a controversial turn when Bellingham was dismissed before halftime for arguing with the referee.
Osasuna equalised from the penalty spot in the 58th minute through Ante Budimir, after Eduardo Camavinga fouled the Croatian in the box.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side have now gone three consecutive league matches without a win, leaving them vulnerable to their title rivals.
Atletico Madrid, two points behind, were set to face Celta Vigo later in the day, while Barcelona will host Rayo Vallecano on Monday.

Real Madrid controlled much of the match, with Mbappe scoring his seventh goal in five La Liga games. Despite their dominance, Bellingham’s red card and a missed penalty opportunity from Vinicius Jr. left the team frustrated.
Mbappe and Vinicius both had chances to retake the lead, but Osasuna’s goalkeeper, Sergio Herrera, denied them in the final moments of the game.
Madrid will be hoping to bounce back when they face Manchester City in the Champions League on Wednesday, after playing nearly an hour with 10 men in this draw.
