    UAE Lists Six Nigerians Among Global Sponsors of Terrorism

    Authorities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Monday named six Nigerians linked to Boko Haram as terrorist financiers.

    According to state-run WAM news agency, the United Arab Emirates Cabinet on Monday issued Resolution No 83 of 2021, designating 38 individuals and 15 entities on its approved list of persons and organisations supporting Boko Haram and other terrorist cause.

    The Nigerians on the list are:

    Abdurrahaman Ado Musa,

    Salihu Yusuf Adamu,

    Bashir Ali Yusuf,

    Muhammed Ibrahim Isa,

    Ibrahim Ali Alhassan, and,

    Surajo Abubakar Muhammad.

    They were prosecuted in 2020 for wiring funds to Boko Haram.

    The full list of 53 individuals and entities indicted include:
