WhatsApp users now have the capability to share their screens while engaged in a call, allowing other participants to view documents, presentations, photos, and videos.
Owned by Meta, this messaging service feature empowers users to broadcast a real-time display of their screen during video calls. Additionally, WhatsApp video calls now support landscape mode.
Meta’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, unveiled these new features through his Facebook page.
“Whether sharing documents for work, browsing photos with family, planning a vacation or shopping online with friends, or just helping grandparents with tech support – screen sharing lets you share a live view of your screen during the call,” stated WhatsApp in an announcement.
