World Bank to lend Zambia $100 million for resource management

The World Bank has approved a concessional loan to Zambia. A sum of $100 million is meant to improve the country’s natural resource management.

The World Bank’s International Development Association will finance a project supporting the sustainable use of natural resources in the country according to the international lender.

The bank further explains that the project is aimed at reversing forest and land degradation and improving infrastructure.
