Nigerian award-winning Afro-soul singer, Aramide has announced the birth of her new child today, January 14. She shared this news on her Instagram page alongside a cute photo of her baby, Anjolaoluwa Charis Alli.
“Our Precious and Perfect Gift from God. Anjolaoluwa Charis Alli. 26:12:19. The biggest blessing of the decade for us. Thank you God for everything🧡,” she wrote.
Colleagues, fans and well-wishers have since been congratulating the singer in her comment section.
This is Aramide’s first child since her marriage to Pelumi Alli in 2015 in a ceremony that held in her hometown, Ibadan. In 2016, she released her debut album, Suitcase. The critically acclaimed tape featured an all-star cast of Sound Sultan, Adekunle Gold, Ice Prince, Koker and Sir Dauda. In 2018, she picked up the Headies award for the Best Alternative Song category.
Just last year, Aramide was reportedly inducted into the Recording Academy Governing Board of the Recording Academy (Grammys).
